WaitingBy: Fink HollowayJuly 23, 1993 What do you do? What do you do? What do you do while you're waiting to see? What is the report? How will this affect me? Will life go on quite normal? Or will it all quickly change? Will I be comfortable? Will I be miserable? Will I be staying? Will I be going? Lord, you already know the answers to my questions. Why do I have to wait and see? I guess that's the way you want it to be. You said in your Word, Matthew 6:33 Take no thought for tomorrow Just seek me today. I'll add all you need for each step of the way. So what do I do while I'm waiting to see? Worry and fret? Or trust quietly? I will trust you, Lord, For you know exactly how it will be. You know it all, And you have a plan for all that affects me. So what can I do during the days that I wait? Plant seeds of contentment, and actively cultivate Trust, and peace, and love, and patience. Lord, I will trust you while I wait. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Waiting" Copyright 1993: Shirley Finkenbinder Holloway Individuals who wish to share any of these poems for ministry may send them to friends.
